The Snooty Fox is a three star hotel at the heart of Tetbury and a central feature of town life. A central feature of the pub is Fred, the huge, friendly Great Dane who’s usually found lolling by the fire in the hall. Not only is Fred always delighted to meet new regulars, some of them even take him for walks. Of course, The Snooty Fox has – or rather ‘had’ its own resident fox. Foxy, a large stuffed fox who lived in the entrance hall, disappeared five years ago and has not been seen since. He does, however, send us postcards from time to time – we’ve had them from Hawaii, Canada, South Africa and all over the world. He seems to enjoy his travels. |
